Hayes, 41, got a decade behind bars after police say he unloaded his weapon near an apartment complex in Reidsville, North Carolina. Video footage shows Hayes’ brazen confrontation with a door, leading to multiple shots fired and law enforcement’s swift response. United States Attorney Dan Bishop dropped the hammer today in Greensboro, handing down a 10-year sentence for possession of ammunition as a convicted felon.
