Raleigh, North Carolina – A Raleigh man has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term for his role in a crack distribution operation in the Raleigh area.
Needham Holder, III, 33, was sentenced yesterday to 195 months in prison for distribution of cocaine base (crack). The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Louise W. Flanagan after Holder pled guilty to the charge on February 24, 2021.
According to court documents and other information presented in court, Holder distributed in excess of 18 kilograms of cocaine base (crack) in the Raleigh area from November 2017 until his arrest on June 8, 2019.

The Raleigh Police Department and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives investigated the case, with Special Assistant U.S. Attorney John P. Newby, Jr. prosecuting the case.
