In a federal criminal case that garnered significant attention, Nelson Williams, a 35-year-old Maryland resident, stood trial for his alleged involvement in a string of violent crimes. The case, filed on March 5, 2020, in the Maryland District Federal Court, saw Williams facing charges of armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The investigation, which began in January 2020, revealed that Williams was allegedly involved in a series of violent incidents across the state of Maryland. According to authorities, Williams used a firearm to commit the crimes, including a robbery at a convenience store in Baltimore.
