North Stonington Woman Jailed for 6 Years for Meth Trafficking

A North Stonington woman, JILL MULLIGAN, 45, has been sentenced to 6 years in federal prison for her role in trafficking crystal meth.

Mulligan’s sentencing comes after she was arrested on May 4, 2023, in a sting operation by the FBI’s Northern Connecticut Gang Task Force. The force made three controlled purchases of crystal meth from Mulligan in April and May 2023.

At the time of her arrest, searches of Mulligan’s North Stonington residence and her vehicle revealed approximately 390 grams of crystal meth, as well as quantities of crack cocaine, LSD, and prescription pills.

Mulligan pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on November 1, 2023. She has been detained since March 12, 2025, when her bond was revoked.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Reed Durham. David X. Sullivan, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced the sentencing.

Mulligan’s sentence includes 72 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release. This punishment serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of engaging in meth trafficking and other serious crimes.
