On August 9, 2018, Pedro Lopez-Rodriguez Bahena, a 35-year-old migrant worker, was charged with federal crimes in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, ILND Federal District.[1] Bahena, also known as ‘Pedro’, was accused of kidnapping and murdering a 46-year-old man, whose body was discovered in a cornfield in Champaign, Illinois, in October 2017.[2]
