Randallstown Drug Kingpin Sean Wilson Sentenced to 11 Years

Baltimore, Maryland – In a stunning blow to the drug trade in Baltimore, Sean Wilson, 46, of Randallstown, was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Blake to 11 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release for his role in a heroin distribution conspiracy.

United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein announced the sentence along with Assistant Special Agent in Charge Gary Tuggle of the DEA, Baltimore Police Department Commissioner Anthony W. Batts, Baltimore County Police Chief James W. Johnson, and Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby.

‘The sentence today of Sean Wilson underscores our commitment to eradicating drug trafficking from the Baltimore area,’ said Tuggle. ‘DEA’s investigation into this DTO was a complex, multi-jurisdictional effort that required the relentless work of our law enforcement partners across multiple states.’

According to his plea agreement, Wilson conspired with Fred Brooks and others to distribute heroin in Baltimore from September 2013 to June 30, 2014. He coordinated the acquisition of heroin from Mexican sources via Chicago, Illinois. The DEA intercepted communications where Wilson discussed drug transactions and payments.

On June 30, 2014, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a stash location in Pikesville, Maryland, where they seized 10 kilograms of heroin, $464,283, and other evidence. During the conspiracy, Wilson was responsible for distributing at least 30 kilograms of heroin.

Fred Douglas Brooks, age 47, from Houston, Texas, is currently facing federal drug charges in New Orleans.
