In a shocking turn of events, Roderick Banks, a 35-year-old male, was taken into custody by federal authorities in connection with a string of violent crimes that terrorized the community in 2018.
According to court documents, Banks was charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, assault, and kidnapping, all of which took place in the Illinois area.
The case, which was filed on October 23, 2018, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (ILND Federal District), brought widespread attention to the severity of the crimes committed by the defendant.
As per the charges, Banks allegedly targeted several individuals, using a firearm to intimidate and coerce them into handing over their valuables.
