Sabrina Morgan, 39, of Jeddito, Ariz., has been convicted of stealing over $1,000 from the Red Mesa Trading Company in Naschitti, N.M.
The Navajo Indian Reservation-based business, located in San Juan County, N.M., reported the theft to authorities, leading to an indictment filed on March 14, 2017.
Morgan, who was employed as the district supervisor of the Trading Company at the time of the offense, was charged with stealing more than $1,000 from the company.
On [no specific date given], Morgan entered a guilty plea to the indictment without the benefit of a plea agreement.
At sentencing, Morgan faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison. A sentencing hearing has yet to be scheduled.
The Farmington office of the FBI investigated the case, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael D. Murphy is prosecuting the matter.
