A high-profile federal case in the Texas Western District of the US District Court has come to an end, concluding in the conviction of defendant, Eduardo Saravia-Hernandez. The case, which was filed on March 5th, 2013, involved Saravia-Hernandez being charged with one count of attempted robbery, one count of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The sentences were to run concurrently, resulting in a total sentence of 10 years in prison.
