Sherente Tubby, Burglary, Mississippi 2021

A Tucker man, Sherente Tubby, pleaded guilty to burglary on the Choctaw Reservation in Mississippi, according to court documents.

Tubby, 22, broke into the home of another person with intent to commit assault in December 2021.

The case was investigated by the Choctaw Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

U.S. Attorney Todd Gee and Special Agent in Charge Robert A. Eikhoff of the Federal Bureau of Investigation made the announcement.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kevin J. Payne and Brian K. Burns prosecuted the case.

Tubby is scheduled to be sentence on January 14, 2024, and faces a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 25 years in prison. A federal district judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
