SHERMAN, Texas – A major crackdown on heroin trafficking in North Texas has resulted in six men facing significant federal prison terms. Julio Cruz, 23, of Carrollton, Texas, was the first to plead guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin, marking a victory for law enforcement.
