In a shocking revelation, the Senate Rackets Committee has been told of alleged efforts by a Teamster Union official to strong-arm jukebox owners in the Chicago area. According to Robert Lindleoff, a Skokie, Illinois jukebox operator and president of Music Operators of Northern Illinois, a trade association, he was repeatedly asked to feature a record by Singer Tommy Leonetti, but was refused. Lindleoff testified that the requests came from none other than Joseph Glim, co-president of the Chicago Teamsters.
