FAYETTEVILLE — Authorities have confirmed that a 40-year-old Springdale man has been sentenced to 235 months in federal prison after being convicted of distributing methamphetamine. The harsh sentence was handed down to Thomas Colt Boger by the Honorable Judge Timothy L. Brooks in the United States District Court in Fayetteville.
According to court documents, the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force received information in January 2023 about ongoing methamphetamine distribution occurring in Northwest Arkansas. Detectives conducted multiple controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Boger, which led to an investigation. Law enforcement discovered an increase in suspected drug activity at his residence in Springdale and successfully seized a backpack containing two large bundles of methamphetamine.
The purchased and seized methamphetamine was submitted to the Homeland Security Investigations Crime Laboratory for testing, where it was confirmed to be methamphetamine. As a result, Boger was held accountable for over 2.25 kilograms of actual methamphetamine.
U.S. Attorney David Clay Fowlkes of the Western District of Arkansas announced the news of Boger’s conviction.
The 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force handled the investigation, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin Eaton prosecuting the case.
