Valencia-Pantoja, a Colombian national, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, attempted murder-for-hire, and other related charges. The case was a result of a joint investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other law enforcement agencies into a large-scale organized crime ring in the Chicago area.
