A convicted felon in Indiana has been sentenced to 57 months of imprisonment for possessing a firearm.
Willard Quinn, 42, of Wakarusa, Indiana, was pulled over in a vehicle stop on July 28, 2016. A loaded firearm was found under the front passenger seat, and drug paraphernalia was discovered inside the vehicle.
According to court documents, Quinn has multiple felony convictions, making him a prohibited person from possessing a firearm.
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, with the assistance of the Indiana State Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney Molly E. Donnelly handled the case.
On March 14, 2023, Quinn was sentenced before District Court Judge Jon E. DeGuilio. In addition to the 57-month prison term, Quinn will also serve 2 years of supervised release.
