MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – Donald Wayne Wilson, 62, of Hedgesville, West Virginia, is facing serious federal heat after being indicted on firearms charges, United States Attorney Bill Powell announced today. The charges stem from an alleged attempt to illegally obtain a firearm while concealing a criminal past.
Wilson has been indicted on one count of “False Statement During the Purchase of a Firearm” and one count of “Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.” According to the indictment, Wilson allegedly lied about a prior felony conviction when attempting to purchase a .357 caliber revolver in Berkeley County back in September 2018.
