A federal grand jury has indicted a suspect in connection with a 2024 robbery that occurred on Newtown Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
According to the indictment, the suspect, John Doe, is charged with one count of robbery, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
The indictment alleges that on or about January 15, 2024, John Doe did take, by force and violence, and by intimidation, property, to wit: $1,000 in United States currency, from the person of another, in the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The case was investigated by the Virginia Beach Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
