US Justice Department, Drug and Arms Trafficking, Washington D.C., …

The United States has made a major splash in its fight against organized crime and terrorism, capturing 37 Mexican nationals wanted for serious federal charges. Among those brought to justice are leaders of notorious cartels like the Sinaloa Cartel, CJNG, CDN, and CDG, as well as alleged members of foreign terrorist organizations.

The operation, spearheaded by multiple U.S. agencies including ATF, DEA, FBI, and USMS, resulted in the transfer of fugitives facing charges ranging from narcoterrorism to providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization. The suspects were apprehended during an intense investigation that spanned months.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi declared this a landmark achievement for the Trump Administration’s anti-cartel strategy, saying, ‘These 37 cartel members will now pay for their crimes against the American people on American soil.’

The FBI Director Kash Patel emphasized the relentless pursuit of dangerous criminals, stating that today’s announcement is yet another example of FBI’s commitment to accountability.

Administrator Terrance Cole of DEA highlighted the significance of this transfer, noting individuals tied to designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations such as Sinaloa Cartel and CJNG were among those brought to the U.S. for justice.

DIRECTOR GADYACES S. SERRALTA OF THE UNITED STATES MARSHALS SERVICE (USMS) STATED THAT ‘JUSTICE DOES NOT STOP AT BORDERS,’ REFLECTING THE GLOBAL EFFORTS TO COMBAT ORGANIZED CRIME AND TERRORISM.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR ROB CEKADA OF ATF REMINDED READERS THAT ‘ATF IS ON THE FRONT LINES OF THE FIGHT AGAINST VIOLENT CRIME,’ ILLUSTRATING THE AGENT’S DETERMINATION TO PROTECT AMERICAN CITIZENS FROM GANGS AND CARTELS.
