‘Worm’ Roberson Leads Narcotics Ring with $150K in Seizures

CINCINNATI – Steffen ‘Worm’ Roberson, a notorious figure in the Cincinnati drug scene, has been charged alongside 13 others for a massive narcotics conspiracy that spanned four years. The ring, which operated across Ohio and neighboring states, was alleged to have distributed millions of dollars’ worth of opioids, including fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Roberson, also known as ‘Worm,’ allegedly ran one of the largest drug trafficking organizations in greater Cincinnati. His brother, Anthony ‘Chemist’ Roberson, is accused of manufacturing heroin and fentanyl mixtures. Law enforcement has seized over $150,000 in cash, 10 kilograms of fentanyl, multiple vehicles, and 28 firearms related to this investigation.

The co-conspirators were charged on November 15th, with all but one, Sterling Parish, already arrested. Parish remains a fugitive with an outstanding warrant. Authorities urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the FBI Cincinnati at 513-421-4310.

Anthony Roberson is alleged to have used fillers to cut narcotics and increase their potency, selling them for hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash. The group sourced drugs from multiple cities, including Atlanta and Baltimore. Over 30 search warrants have been executed since 2018 at residences where large quantities of fentanyl and loaded firearms were recovered.

The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Hamilton County Regional Enforcement Narcotics Unit (RENU), DEA, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), Drug Abuse and Reduction Task Force (DART), Middletown Police Department, Warren County Drug Task Force (WCDTF), Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Unit (BURN), Hamilton County Probation Office, and other federal and state agencies. Assistant United States Attorneys Ashley N. Brucato and Dominick S. Gerace are representing the U.S. in this case.
