Terry Baham Jr, Fentanyl Cocaine Violations, LA 2025

New Orleans, LA – St. Bernard Parish resident Terry Baham, Jr. (37), has been hit with a stunning guilty verdict for violating federal controlled substances and gun control acts.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Michael M. Simpson, Baham pled guilty on August 12, 2025, before Judge Brandon S. Long. The charges? Possession with intent to distribute massive amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana, as well as possession of firearms to further drug trafficking crimes.

Back in October 2021, St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s deputies were tipped off about Baham’s activities. With a search warrant in hand, they hit his residence in Chalmette. The seizure was massive: over 112 grams of fentanyl, 74 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of meth, 405 grams of pot, and 112 THC cartridges. Four firearms were also taken: a Beretta Nano, Glock 27, Zastava PAP M85 NP, and Sharps Bros. Warthog rifle.

The drug count alone carries a mandatory minimum of five years behind bars, with a maximum sentence of forty years, up to $5 million in fines, plus at least four years of supervised release. The firearm possession adds another five-year minimum consecutive term, along with up to $250,000 in fines and supervised release.

This case was jointly investigated by the FBI and the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office, with Assistant U.S. Attorney André Jones handling the prosecution.

Baham’s fate is now sealed: a heavy sentence awaits him for his involvement in the dark world of drug trafficking and gun violence.
