TEXARKANA – The grim hand of justice has fallen on a Hope predator. Bradley Hunter Cox, 36, was sentenced yesterday to serve 144 months in federal prison followed by 10 years of supervised release for distributing child pornography. The sentence was handed down by the Honorable Chief Judge Susan O. Hickey at the U.S. District Court in Texarkana.
Court documents reveal Cox used online social media platforms to disseminate this graphic material, targeting unsuspecting users with unspeakable content. The FBI’s Washington D.C. agents uncovered Cox’s sinister activities and alerted local law enforcement. A search warrant executed at Cox’s residence confirmed the distribution of child pornography.
Cox confessed to distributing files across three social media platforms and creating groups for distribution purposes. He was indicted by a Grand Jury in July 2024 and pleaded guilty in January 2025, marking a swift journey through the criminal justice system.
Clay Fowlkes, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas, announced the sentence. The investigation was a collaborative effort between the FBI, Arkansas State Police, Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office, and Hope Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Devon Still prosecuted the case on behalf of the United States.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative since 2006 to combat child sexual exploitation. For more information on this critical effort, visit www.justice.gov/psc.
