According to court documents, Gossett was apprehended on April 26, 2024, in Bend, Oregon, after fleeing prosecution in Marion County, Oregon for armed robbery. At the time of his arrest, Gossett was in possession of a handgun and small amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

A search warrant was executed on Gossett’s vehicle two days later, revealing a large stash of illicit substances, including over 900 grams of methamphetamine and 330 grams of fentanyl, as well as firearm magazines.
