Abel Montero-Mendoza, Illegal Reentry After Deportation, Pennsylvania 2024

Grimy Times has learned that Abel Montero-Mendoza, a 32-year-old native of Mexico, has been charged with a serious crime in Pennsylvania. Montero-Mendoza, of Oxford, PA, was charged today by Indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced Acting United States Attorney Louis D. Lappen.

The indictment alleges that on or about November 3, 2014, Montero-Mendoza, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about September 17, 2005 and June 15, 2010.

According to the indictment, Montero-Mendoza’s actions are a severe breach of immigration laws, and he now faces the possibility of severe punishment. If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of twenty years.

The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Bea Witzleben.
