Tyler A. Blackmon, Incest Attempts, AL 2018

PRATTVILLE, ALA. – A chilling federal indictment has been levied against 28-year-old Tyler A. Blackmon of Prattville, Alabama, after the Eastern District of Wisconsin’s U.S. Attorney Matthew D. Krueger announced that a grand jury had returned the charges.

Between September 27, 2018, and October 10, 2018, authorities allege that Blackmon engaged in four despicable attempts to entice “Minor Child A,” a minor from Wisconsin, into committing incestuous acts. This heinous crime is classified as a felony under Wisconsin law.

Blackmon has been charged with four counts of attempting to persuade, induce, entice, and coerce the child into criminal sexual activity, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2422(b) and 2. If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years, potentially leading to a lifetime behind bars.

This harrowing case has been diligently investigated by the Seymour Police Department, with substantial assistance from the Prattville Police Department in Alabama. Assistant United States Attorney Daniel R. Humble will be handling the prosecution.
