Albert Maximillian Jeremias, Child Enticement, Pennsylvania 2023

A 79-year-old Wexford resident has been charged with attempting to transmit obscene material to a minor and coerce a minor to engage in sexual activity.

Albert Maximillian Jeremias, 79, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on four counts of child enticement.

According to the indictment, Jeremias made contact with undercover agents in Pittsburgh, Santa Fe, and Coral Gables via internet chats between January 2023 and May 2023.

During those conversations, Jeremias sent pornographic photographs and livestream images of himself to the undercover agents and requested that they send sexually explicit pictures of themselves to him.

Jeremias even sent one of the undercover agents a $50 gift card as enticement.

The law provides for a maximum total sentence of up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, or both.

Assistant United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Brown is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Northern Regional Police Department conducted the investigation leading to the indictment.
