Amber Lingafelt, a 40-year-old woman from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 60 months in prison and 4 years of supervised release for her role in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.

According to court records, Lingafelt was involved in a conspiracy that took place from April 2019 to July 2021, during which she conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine base, in the form commonly known as crack, a quantity of heroin, and a quantity of fentanyl.

Lingafelt was sentenced by Senior United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson after being convicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.

The investigation into Lingafelt’s activities was led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Laurel Highlands Resident Agency, in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations and other local law enforcement agencies.

The prosecution of Lingafelt was handled by Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon, who successfully secured a conviction against the defendant.

Lingafelt’s sentence is a result of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation, which aims to disrupt and dismantle high-level drug traffickers and other criminal organizations that threaten communities across the United States.
