Andrew Heineman, Wire Fraud, Pennsylvania 2015

A Philadelphia man has been accused of using his employer’s funds to live the high life, with a stolen Chevrolet Tahoe being seized as evidence of his crimes.

Andrew Heineman, 30, of Philadelphia, PA, was charged yesterday by Information with multiple counts of wire fraud, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.

The indictment alleges that in April 2015 through August 2015, Heineman stole money from his employer, Genji Sushi, by issuing unauthorized checks to himself and depositing them into his personal bank account. Some of these ill-gotten funds purchased a Chevrolet Tahoe, which has since been seized by the government.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Denise S. Wolf.

According to the indictment, if convicted, Heineman faces a maximum possible sentence of twenty years in prison.

Heineman’s employer, Genji Sushi, was victimized by the defendant’s actions, resulting in the theft of an unknown amount of money. The Chevrolet Tahoe, which was purchased with the stolen funds, has been seized by the government.

Heineman, a resident of Philadelphia, PA, was charged with multiple counts of wire fraud. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

The case against Heineman is ongoing, and his fate will be decided in a court of law.
