Unlicensed Firearm Sales in Webster Exposed: Anthony Pietrowski Charged
BOSTON, MA – In a shocking revelation, authorities have arrested Anthony Pietrowski, a 24-year-old from Webster, Massachusetts, for unlicensed dealing in firearms. The charges were brought forth by the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.
According to the complaint filed against Pietrowski, he sold numerous firearms, including a machinegun conversion device, on four occasions in Webster to an undercover agent in the summer of 2025. The investigation, which began in the summer of 2025, led to Pietrowski’s arrest and subsequent charge.
Pietrowski, a.k.a. AJ, made an initial appearance in federal court in Worcester on January 30, 2026. He faces one count of dealing in firearms without a license, which carries a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000.
The United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Thomas Greco, Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Boston Field Division, made the announcement. Valuable assistance was provided by United States Postal Inspection Service, Warwick (RI) Police Department, Webster Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the Worcester Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Zachary Stendig of the Worcester Branch Office is prosecuting the case.
This case is part of the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) initiative established by Executive Order 14159, Protecting the American People Against Invasion. The HSTF is a whole-of-government partnership dedicated to eliminating criminal cartels, foreign gangs, transnational criminal organizations, and human smuggling and trafficking rings operating in the United States and abroad.
