Antoine Riley, Armed Drug Trafficking, Georgia 2024

A Warner Robins man has been sentenced to federal prison for his role in a large-scale armed drug trafficking operation in Middle Georgia.

Antoine Riley, 45, also known as ‘Bear,’ was sentenced to 180 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release, to run consecutively to any term of imprisonment imposed in a pending case in Taylor County Superior Court, according to a recent press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Riley pleaded guilty to distribution of cocaine base and was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Marc Treadwell on May 3. There is no parole in the federal system.

Riley was one of several defendants in the case, including co-defendant Antonio Raines, 39, of Warner Robins, who was sentenced to 97 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release, also for distribution of cocaine base.

The investigation into the armed drug trafficking operation, centered in Warner Robins, began after federal agents began investigating Riley for distributing large quantities of crack cocaine out of several stash houses in the community. Riley was known to be armed.

According to court records, recorded conversations and text messages between Riley and his codefendants revealed Riley and Raines as the leaders of the criminal operation. Several controlled purchases of cocaine were made, including a multi-kilogram transaction involving Riley while he was under surveillance.

The case was investigated by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, which includes local, state, and federal agencies. U.S. Attorney Peter D. Leary commended the efforts of the task force, saying ‘Armed repeat felons will face federal consequences for their continued criminal activity.’
