Augusta, ME – In a brazen display of thievery, a group of shoplifters has been targeting local businesses, leaving a trail of stolen goods in their wake. The most recent victims include a high-end clothing store on Water Street, where expensive capes, coats, and suits have been pilfered. According to eyewitnesses, the thieves made off with a valuable assortment of garments, including all-wool capes with coat fronts in the latest shades, velour and serge coats in various colors, and navy, tan, and other desirable shades of ladies’ and misses’ suits.
