A federal court in Great Falls, Montana, has handed down a significant sentence to a local resident involved in a large-scale methamphetamine distribution ring.
Billie Joe Bullshields, a 29-year-old resident of Browning, was sentenced to 48 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Bullshields was involved in purchasing and distributing methamphetamine in Browning and Great Falls, Montana, between November 2010 and May 2011.
The defendant was part of a larger operation that included several co-conspirators, including Louis Romero, Henry Lopez, and X.X., who facilitated the distribution of methamphetamine in the area.
Bullshields was sentenced to 48 months in prison, a $100 special assessment, and 4 years of supervised release.
In addition to his prison sentence, Bullshields was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and complete 4 years of supervised release upon his release from prison.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office credited the success of the investigation to the hard work and dedication of law enforcement agencies involved in the case.
