Booker Gets 84 Months for Vegas ATM Heist

United States District Judge Jennifer A. Dorsey sentenced the final defendant in a series of ATM burglaries that shocked Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 7. Stanley Booker was handed an 84-month sentence for his role in a conspiracy to burglarize multiple bank ATMs using pry bars and hammers.

According to court documents, from March 2020 to December 2020, Booker, along with Demarcus Dosewell, Dominique Owens, Jecorian McCutcheon, and George Densley, conspired to carry out the thefts. They targeted ATMs in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada, as well as Phoenix, Arizona.

In Las Vegas, they were unable to open the safes containing cash. However, during a heist in Henderson, Booker, Dosewell, and Densley made off with $114,100. Booker, Dosewell, Owens, and McCutcheon also stole $151,200 from an ATM in Phoenix, which they transported to Las Vegas.

Owens pleaded guilty to three counts of bank burglary and one count of interstate transportation of stolen property, receiving a 51-month sentence. Dosewell was sentenced to 41 months for his involvement. McCutcheon’s sentence for two counts of bank burglary and one count of interstate transportation of stolen property was set at 41 months.

Densley faced the longest trial, culminating in a five-day jury trial that resulted in convictions on one count of conspiracy to commit bank burglary and two counts of bank burglary. He was sentenced to 60 months in prison on May 7.

In addition to their prison sentences, all defendants were ordered to pay restitution totaling $485,554.77. The investigation into the burglaries was led by the FBI, with Assistant United States Attorneys Joshua Brister and Steven Rose prosecuting the case.
