In a bold move to combat the scourge of bootlegging, the Catholic Total Abstinence Union of Illinois (CT A U) has called upon its members to wage war against the illicit establishments known as blind pigs. At its convention last week, the union’s resolution committee, headed by John F. Cunneen, presented a powerful resolution that left no room for doubt: the CT A U would no longer tolerate the proliferation of bootlegging in Illinois.
