Olivia Wilkins, a 24-year-old from Thomaston, Maine, pleaded guilty to assaulting a US Border Patrol agent in Washington, Maine, in August 2025. The incident occurred when a Border Patrol agent responded to a one-vehicle crash, and Wilkins arrived at the scene, expressing concerns about the Border Patrol’s presence. As the agent took an individual into custody, Wilkins accelerated her vehicle towards the agent, who managed to avoid being struck.
The agent had pulled the individual to safety, and Wilkins stopped her vehicle before fleeing the scene. She was arrested a short distance away by Maine State Police troopers. The FBI investigated the case, which led to Wilkins’ guilty plea in US District Court in Portland.
Wilkins now faces up to 20 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years of supervised release. Her sentencing will be determined after the completion of a presentence investigative report by the US Probation Office.
