Child Pornography Distributor Sentenced to 17 Years in San Antonio

A San Antonio man, Carlos Fabian Velez, 52, was sentenced to 210 months in prison for distributing child pornography. On August 23, 2023, Velez pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography.

The crime began over 20 years ago when Velez used a peer-to-peer file sharing system to traffic in child sexual abuse material. He distributed hundreds of files depicting young children, including infants and toddlers. This horrific exploitation has severe effects on the victims.
