In a shocking move, a local attorney has come forward to expose what he claims is a brazen case of election tampering in the Alaska Territory. Robert C. Hurley, a respected voice in Juneau’s legal community, has written an open letter to Territorial Treasurer Walstein G. Smith, questioning the legitimacy of the recent election of Cash Cole as Auditor and L.W. Brewer as Commissioner of Education.
