New Mexico’s Luna Community College is in hot water after being hit with a sex harassment lawsuit by the Department of Justice.
Former employee Charlene Ortiz-Cordova claims she was subjected to months of abuse by a supervisor, including unwanted physical contact and offensive comments.
The DOJ alleges that Luna failed to take adequate action to address the discrimination, allowing a hostile work environment to thrive.
This is the first Title VII suit filed by the Department in 2009, adding to last year’s dozen suits. Stay tuned for more on this shocking case of workplace abuse!
