A 43-year-old Patterson woman has been sentenced to 16 years in federal prison for producing sexually explicit images of a minor. Brandy Marie Gill pleaded guilty to the crime, which occurred in August 2025, when she persuaded a child to engage in explicit conduct for electronic distribution. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Lisa Godbey Wood in the Southern District of Georgia. Gill will also serve 10 years of supervised release and pay $5,000 to a victim assistance fund.
The investigation was led by the FBI and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Sherri A.
