Baltimore Man Sentenced to 12+ Years for Heroin Distribution in West Virginia

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – Christian Blunt, a 25-year-old Baltimore man, was sentenced to 151 months in prison for heroin distribution in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties.

Blunt pleaded guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin in October 2017. He admitted to distributing over 100 grams of heroin from October 2015 to March 2017.

The case was prosecuted by Special Assistant U.S. Attorney C. Lydia Lehman, who also works with the Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The investigation was led by the Eastern Panhandle Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative.

Chief U.S. District Judge Gina M. Groh presided over the case.

The heroin distribution charges against Blunt were serious, with authorities alleging that he distributed over 100 grams of the deadly substance to victims in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties.
