TULSA, Okla. – A federal indictment was announced on June 2023 for a Tulsa man accused of using an explosive device to damage a local business.
Coby Dale Green, 24, is charged with malicious use of explosive materials after he, on or about Oct. 31, allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail into the Donut Hole donut shop located at 3305 South Peoria Avenue.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is the investigating agency. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Christopher J. Nassar and Nathan E. Michel are prosecuting the case.
Green’s indictment, 23-CR-209, details the alleged offense and the charges against him. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
The indictment serves as a formal accusation of a crime and does not constitute evidence of guilt. It is up to the court to determine Green’s guilt or innocence.
Coby Dale Green, 24, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt.
In Oklahoma, the crime of malicious use of explosive materials is punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
