Trevor Headley, a 32-year-old Newtonville man, was involved in a large-scale cocaine distribution operation in Massachusetts. In August 2025, Headley distributed cocaine to an undercover law enforcement officer on multiple occasions, including a transaction of approximately 112 grams of cocaine on August 12, 2025, and another transaction of approximately 451 grams of cocaine on August 27, 2025. The undercover operations led to Headley’s arrest in October 2025, and he was subsequently charged with possession and distribution of cocaine.
Headley’s dealings didn’t stop at cocaine distribution. He also discussed obtaining firearms and machinegun conversion devices with the undercover officer, revealing a more complex and sinister operation. A search of Headley’s residence following his arrest uncovered approximately three kilograms of cocaine packaged for distribution, along with more than $32,000 in cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
In April 2026, Headley pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and two counts of distribution of and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. He was sentenced to five years in prison, to be followed by four years of supervised release, by U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney John T. Dawley of the Organized Crime & Gang Unit, with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Boston Police Department. The sentence marks a significant blow to cocaine distribution in the Newtonville area and serves as a warning to those involved in similar operations.
