A Boston gang associate was sentenced to four years in prison for his role in a massive drug conspiracy. Mark Linnehan, 26, was a key player in the H Block gang’s operation, which flooded the streets of Boston with cocaine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine.
Law enforcement launched a multi-year investigation into the H Block gang in 2021, following a surge in gang-related violence and shootings. The probe led to the arrest of 10 gang members and associates, including Linnehan, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in January 2026.
According to court documents, over 500 grams of illicit substances were seized during the investigation, along with 20,000 doses of fentanyl-laced paper. Linnehan was a supplier of fentanyl to his co-conspirators and conducted multiple drug deals with an undercover officer.
The H Block gang, originally known as the Humboldt Raiders, has been a thorn in the side of Boston law enforcement for decades. With roots dating back to the 1980s, the gang has been linked to numerous crimes, including murder, assault, and narcotics trafficking.
