COLUMBIA, S.C. — Gun dealer and drug peddler Laclarence Lamarcus Anderson is looking at over two decades in federal lockup after a jury convicted him of selling 10 firearms and scores of meth, coke, and crack. His most dangerous sale? A Glock that he converted into a deadly machinegun. One of his guns was linked to a murder attempt in the area. Anderson’s rap sheet includes serious violent crimes, but this is his worst hit yet. US District Judge Cameron Currie made sure of it, locking him up for 297 months. No parole. The ATF and Richland County Sheriff’s Department did the legwork. Assistant U.S. Attorney Elle E. Klein took him down. SC State.
