A convicted felon was arrested in Gates, New York, on Thursday after being accused of having a gun at a Motel 6.
According to the source, the defendant was taken into custody after a report of a gun was made at the motel.
The defendant, whose name has not been released, is facing charges of criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
