According to court documents, Breen was identified as the owner and operator of various websites that offered for sale over the Internet customized counterfeit t-shirts and goods using the Sons of Anarchy trademark without the permission of Twentieth Century Fox Entertainment Group.
The defendant’s websites were seized by federal agents as part of a nationwide crackdown aimed at combating intellectual property theft.
U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Arcara sentenced Breen to five months in prison and five months home confinement. The defendant was also ordered to pay $5,394.15 in restitution to Twentieth Century Fox Entertainment Group.
