A 34-year-old Washington D.C. man, Antonio Nicks, has pleaded guilty to obstructing a homicide investigation.
The probe was into the 2022 stabbing death of Brittany Palmer. Nicks was called to testify under oath in a Superior Court grand jury proceeding.
During his grand jury testimony, Nicks declined to answer certain questions and refused to comply with a court order to answer other questions. He was subsequently arrested on a material witness warrant and has been in custody ever since.
His guilty plea came on the eve of jury selection. Sentencing is set for June 26, 2026.
