A massive methamphetamine bust in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has sent a local mother behind bars for a decade. Dara Briann Redmond, 38, was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison for trafficking over a pound of methamphetamine from her home, where her three minor children also lived.

According to court documents, Redmond, who had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine on March 25, 2019, admitted to selling the deadly substance to a confidential informant on two separate occasions.
