A shocking scheme has rocked the streets of Buffalo, New York, as Daryl Vandermark, 44, and Judi Strong, 43, both of Amherst, N.Y., were charged with Attempted Importation of Controlled Substance, a serious crime that could land them behind bars for years to come.
According to sources, Vandermark and Strong allegedly attempted and conspired to import into the United Sates a Schedule I controlled substance, specifically Alpha-PVP, on July 30, 2015. This alleged crime is a clear violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 952, 960(a)(1) and 963, as well as Title 18, United States Code, Section 545.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward H. White, who is handling the case, stated that the defendants’ actions were a blatant disregard for the law, and they will be held accountable for their actions. The case is being investigated by Special Agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Acting Special Agent in Charge J. Michael Kennedy.
Vandermark and Strong are presumed innocent until proven guilty, but the evidence against them is mounting. The fact that they have been charged with this serious crime is a clear indication that the authorities are taking their alleged actions very seriously.
The case against Vandermark and Strong is ongoing, and it remains to be seen what the eventual outcome will be. One thing is certain, however, and that is that the people of Buffalo, New York, will be watching with bated breath as the case unfolds.
