Deadwood, SD – A local man has been sentenced for illegally possessing a firearm, violating federal law. Sean Jason Romanjenko, 39, was sentenced to 2 years of probation and a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
Romanjenko was found guilty of Illegally Possessing a Firearm after a shooting range incident near Deadwood on December 1, 2012. Romanjenko was in possession of a .45 caliber pistol, which is a serious offense considering his previous conviction.
