Acting United States Attorney Bob Troyer, FBI Denver Division Special Agent in Charge Calvin Shivers, Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz, and members of the Metro Gang Task Force led a 20-month investigation. The operation involved 225 agents and officers from 18 agencies, including SWAT teams from four departments.

Today’s takedown targeted open-air drug markets near parks and public transportation centers, aiming to free these spaces for public use. Key figures in the indictments include Jerrell Birch, Rodrick Harris, Shedrick Wilford, Tamar Henry, Deon Jackson, Kiki Douglas, and Clarence Antoine & Spencer Antoine.

Convictions could lead to sentences ranging from 10 years to life, with additional penalties for using telephones in drug trafficking. U.S. Attorney Bob Troyer emphasized the importance of Colorado’s ‘gold-standard’ law enforcement partnerships, which made today’s action possible with minimal disruption to local communities.
